Next day we travelled to Bangkok. The difference with Beijing was quite
notable. Bangkok seemed much more western-style and it lacked all the
same kind of poverty.

Our hotel at Bangkok was the Royal Hotel, a 3-star hotel. Our room was
the worst hotel room I have ever been in! The wallpaper was torn apart
in many places and the roof leaked water when it rained that evening!
We went to the MBK Center (a huge department store) that evening.

Photographing was actually prohibited inside the building, but I
photographed anyways until I noticed... :P
At the top floor there was a gaming hall full of arcade games,
internet gaming facilities, game shops and anime merchandize shops. For a nerd
like me it was almost like paradise!
